Your stairs can be designed as open treads, closed treads or carpeted treads.
Balustrades can further enhance your staircase and again can range from wooden to steel to glass.
External Stairs can be added to create an additional entry to your house or perhaps you have split level land you’d like to access. Steep driveways can also benefit by the addition of a set of stairs for easier access by foot traffic to the property.
External stairs can be made as a feature using wood or cement and pavers and designed for maximum effect and space saving. Practical use is always foremost in the design and Steve will be able to discuss all your options and advise you on the best solution.

Stairs FAQ’s
Do I have a choice of Material I can use for my stair case?
Yes traditionally staircases were made from timber with timber or decorative wrought iron balustrades. The more contemporary styles are open rise stairs in steel and timber with balustrading in glass, steel, stainless steel, timber, stainless steel wire or a combination of these materials. A lot will depend on whether your stairs are internal or external and existing décor.

Can I provide my own design?
Absolutely. We are happy to work with you as long as your staircase conforms with the Building Codes of Australia.
Can you suggest suitable Designs?
Yes Steve has a wealth of experience and will gladly provide you with different designs you can choose from.
Is your work insured?
Yes Steve is a fully licenced Builder and carpenter and as such carries full insurance. Our team of professional sub-contractors all hold current licenses and insurances.
