Bathroom Renovations FAQ’s
How much will My Bathroom Cost?
This is the top asked question as most people have never renovated a bathroom before so the amount of work required is varied dependant on what is wanted;
For example a complete strip out full replacement of all light fittings, tiles, baths, showers, vanities, mirrors and re waterproofing will cost a lot more than just a vanity or shower replacement.
You could spend as little as $1000 for a few replacements going up to $15000 + or somewhere in-between
There is not a “one-size fits all” so to be fair Steve will come and give you a quote based on your choices of style and fittings
Can I move my plumbing?
Leaving your plumbing where it is will reduce costs, however moving plumbing is not a problem and can be done.
How long will it take?
Again depending on what you want done this will vary but most bathrooms would be complete within 1-2 weeks.
Do I need a permit?
No not normally but that would depend on the type of renovation you are doing and what restructuring is involved. Again Steve will advise you of that when he comes to quote.
Do I need to be home while the renovation is taking place?
No, you don’t need to be home but we will need to arrange access so work can take place.
You can rest assured your house will be in safe hands and left secure.
Is your work insured?
Yes Steve is a fully licenced Builder and carpenter and as such carries full insurance. Our team of professional sub-contractors all hold current licenses and insurances.
Can I choose my own Fittings and Fixtures and Tiles?
Yes of course you can! Steve can assist you with reputable suppliers if required. He can also help with recommendations if you would like.
